When I have first discovered Amaran, it was due to “Inflict” video clip.
It dragged me down and I decided to go where this record may drive me, and I was drown without any chance of regret...

What is really precious in this album is the sublime alchemy and duality between assassin Heavy Riffs and never ending Melodic Feminine Vocals... A real success and the first as well? Preceding “Angtoria’s full-length album “God Has a Plan for Us All” subjectively. Tentatives were always present to marry delicate feminine choirs with the aggressive aspect of Metal, and here is the Swedish Amaran reaching perfection at this term.
Pristine in Bondage” is their second album after “A World Depraved” record, Amaran has unfortunately Split-up in 29.12.2005.

This one has the ability of holding greater mass of Metalheads; it concerns evidently permanent fans of Feminine Metal (Epica, Nightwish, Lacuna Coil, Within Temptation, Autumn...) and Extreme-Strong Heavy Metal lovers as well, nevertheless, it has the status of being a bridge for those who wants to conserve Melodic Clean Feminine Vocals “without keyboards” and the sound of the fury..

This record seems to be the most metallic and strongest Heavy Metal album never to be performed by such Clean Female Voice.
In this album, you may receive a guitar solo at any time, you may feel 3 different sensations through a sole track, you may travel to any spirit status, you may appreciate great sound researches and hard work through the Bass Guitar effects changing or even drums (Watch out Flanger on “24 Pills”!)

Main musical themes on tracks are Neo-Classic, Swedish hammer and Old School Heavy Metal... The record sounds very Thrashy and Metallic...well forged.

Comment on some tracks:
1- Atropine: A Nordic Heavy Riff is reverbed then thrown straight to your face; next, a great Polyphony is arranged and performed by every instrument. Majestic, Mature and Wise.
2-Inflict: The psychedelic track, Nervous then Tired. This song is like an echo from the underground metal scene, a real black jewel.
3-Primal Nature: starting with the fast lane of Swedish Metal, speeding to the edge of a Doomed Passage (Amazing!) this track is some how expressing the attitude of Amaran as a Wise and Sublime music creators...
